Loughton Hall is an imposing Grade II listed building in ‘Queen Anne’ style set in approximately 2 acres of land in the heart of  Loughton, Essex.  Amongst its owners was Mary Tudor before she became Queen of England in 1553. It has played host to many members of the royal family including Queen Elizabeth I in 1561 and 1578, as well as King James I in 1605.

Loughton Hall was rebuilt in 1878 by Reverend J. W. Maitland whose family held the manor for much of the 19th century. It has recently undergone extensive renovation and has been sympathetically restored. It now operates as a residential care facility, providing quality care services for 33 adults over the age of 65 including those living with dementia related illnesses. The home has been finished to a very high specification, with all bedrooms benefiting from private en-suite facilities and private access to St. Nicholas Church and large private gardens. Loughton Hall is conveniently located within walking distance to all local amenities and transport links

Residential Care

Residential care is for those who cannot continue to live in their own home, even with the support of home care services. Residential care provides day to day support in a safe and comfortable environment whilst giving loved ones or carers peace of mind knowing residents are in a secure and supportive space. The care needs of individuals will be assessed and a personalised care plan will be devised to suit the ability and requirements of prospective residents whilst preserving their independence, choice and dignity.

The care plan is constantly monitored and updated in order to ensure that, as individual care needs change over time, each resident is receiving the appropriate care.

Residential Care can be for a short period (Respite Care), long term or permanent. We also offer day-care options with full access to all facilities.

Dementia Care

This is for people living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Whether dementia is in its early stages or advanced, we can offer care suitable for you.
